Last year was the lowest count on record in the Parker, since the volunteer count began in 1997. Less than 100 fish were seen and the estimated run was less than 750 fish. This is an order of magnitude less than our best years (1998 and 1999).

Training will be Monday, April 10 in the Newbury Town Library in Byfield starting at 6:30pm

If fish are running, the best time to see them is between 2 and 6 pm.

This year we will establish a phone tree to increase the chances that everyone sees the migration.
